on Monday June 9th at 7pm.
CONDUCTOR’S CORNER
Dear members of the
Mid-Peninsula Recorder Orchestra, Listed below is information regarding the
final meetings and performance that will conclude MPRO’s 2024-2025 season. Please note that
sopranino, great bass and contrabass recorders as well as bassoon will be
needed at all three meetings with krummhorns needed at the meetings on June 9
and June 27. Please note as well that the meetings on June 23 and June 27 will
take place in the Veterans Center Theater. The spring concert will be in the
Veterans Center Theater on Saturday, June 28, at 2:00 P.M. As in the past,
small ensembles are encouraged to appear in the summer concert. Those groups
that intend to perform at the summer concert on June 28 are asked to send me
the following information by June 13 : the title(s) of
the music to be performed, the name(s) of the composer(s), the name of the
ensemble (if any) and the names of the ensemble’s members. Finally, all those
who are playing in the MPRO concert on June 28 should plan on attending all
three meetings if possible since these are the only opportunities that remain
to work on the music for orchestra’s upcoming performance.
