Planned Concerts

MPRO's first concert this season will be in mid-December 2024 tentatively scheduled at Trinity Presbyterian Church in San Carlos. More info will be provided once the location and date has been confirmed.

MPRO also performs in a Spring Concert, date and location TBD.

Rehearsal Schedule for the Next Few Meetings

Welcome to MPRO's sixty-second season as the orchestra prepares for more fine music making. As during last season, meetings will take place at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison Avenue at St. Francis St., in Redwood City from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.

Note that Greta Haug-Hryciw will be returning this season to direct two meetings while Fred is out of town. The first of these will be the meeting on October 7, and the music she will be working on that evening is listed below along with the titles scheduled for the meetings on September 9 and September 23. This music has already been sent out to the orchestra’s membership along with part assignments.

Please note that sopranino, great bass and contrabass recorders as well as bassoon will be needed at all three meetings and that krummhorns and sordun are called for on September 23.

The meetings will also be streamed via Zoom. Ray White will be sending out invitations to all MPRO members with links to the hybrid Zoom meetings. Please contact him if you do not receive an invitation

And as always, please remember to bring your music and a music stand to the rehearsals.
